Walks

There are a multitude of walks over and around the estate, many with wonderful views over to the Carpathian Mountains and to one of its principal peaks, the Ceahlău, the holy mountain of the Dacians and the abode of their Gods. Examples of walks are shown below. Further afield there are many signposted walks in the mountains. Although requiring an early start, the ascent of the Ceahlău (1907 m/6256 ft.) is a magnificent but tough walk.
