Apart from deer and wild boar, there are many hare, foxes and also martens. Birdlife is rich with shrikes, woodpeckers, storks, hoopoes, bee eaters, ravens, cranes, owls (including Ural and Eagle) seen.

Butterflies abound with some colonies of Swallowtail nearby. In the park over 30 species of wildflower have been mapped by botanists from Solomon’s Seal to wild strawberries
