Manor House

The manor house is listed grade B (English equivalent Grade 2*). Built of brick and timber with plastered wall and a roof of wooden shingles, it is in the traditional Moldavian style; namely long and low. Its exact age is unknown but the oldest part probably dates back to the late 1700s. It is believed that it was built on the site of a former house. The house has been completely restored and renovated using traditional materials such as lime mortar and wooden roof shingles with wooden floors to combine the charm of the old house with modern facilities such as central heating and wi-fi.
